Kingston RPM: Heritage Consultancy

Kingston RPM exhibition – To Make a Record

As a freelancer you often have a relatively short time to get your head around new organisations, projects and supporting contexts before work needs to start on the outcome (for example a report, some in-gallery interpretation, a new schools programme) .

Therefore it’s always lovely to find an organisation you feel ‘in sync’ with from the off – like Creative Youth. After having thoroughly enjoyed my time developing a learning toolkit for the Kingston: Records People & Music project I was asked back in a matter of weeks to develop a heritage consultancy report identifying project strengths as well as practical suggestions for future development. This enabled me to hit the ground running and I was really happy to find out that HLF were ‘particularly impressed’ with the report and rated it as a very useful legacy output. Whoop!
